To all humanity my friends
From every love letter was penned
At ever bar that hope attends
I’ll stay until the bitter end

In the face of unkind odds
Without requests to any god
To all lone wolfs I smile and nod
My fellow friends the road less trod

Will take you round the mountain pass
But not in search of greener grass
Or ends to all your chores and tasks
But dusks on days towards your last

And anchored to the chain of truth
To gain again nothing but youth
Not vain nor rude and not uncouth
But brave and meek though long in tooth

If anybody knows on Earth
How much true life is really worth
A century since childbirth
Is not enough before rebirth

I recall now my elders words
As timeless as the songs of birds

The gate keep got down when he heard
Me utter the correct password

A Message long and void of fear
Accounting all I viewed from here
Limited by eyes and ears
And biased feelings soon to clear

Mind and Heart before I die
May all my memory survive
So who I’ll be won’t be denied
For want of wisdom by and by

As for my foes I’ve come to learn
That hating them is fools’ concerns
Misguiding mortal souls to burn
In toil that offers no returns

On my bed of death I claim
The only thing in me that’s slain
Is all the fear within my brain
The only thing that caused me pain

Now nothing is the sting of death
If we’ve one life don’t fear or fret
One life that’s lived without regrets
Is all you really need I’d bet

But still I like to make believe
The greatest stories yet to breathe
Lie far beyond what we perceive
Until from Earth we die and leave

I Disparage the door of death
It’s not the greatest of my threats
That haunted me or make me sweat
In Devon Cornwall Somerset

And every face in memories
Are only smiling now I see
And All their stories they gave me
Like cream on first and cups of tea

Just before I say good bye
Before I transcend to the sky
“Be yourself” is all I cry
Now my old friends I’ll leave to find
